Dr Chambers has been providing DOT (Department of Transportation) physical examinations for our clients for over 27 years. Dr Chambers has received extra training on DOT policies and procedures and is exceptionally well qualified to ensure that the client’s employees meet the requirements of the Federal DOT regulations.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will soon require that all medical examiners complete training and be certified as DOT examiners so that there will be better uniformity in applying standards and to improve safety and reduce fatalities on our nation’s highways.

DOT Physicals are compulsory for securing a license. The physical examinations will make sure that a prospective driver has no pre-existing medical conditions that might hinder him or her from driving safely and responsibly. The physicals are crafted to fill in the necessary federal regulatory requirements of a particular state. Included in these tests are the prerequisites for the Department of Transportation: the reviewing of a potential driver’s medical history, a physical exam, and the DOT medical card. Chambers Chiropractic can help you secure the necessary documents needed for your license with efficiency and responsibility.
